Howdy, Laura! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I remember how excited both my daughter and I were when she hit the 40” mark! We couldn’t wait to ride Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Radiator Springs Racers together. She is also very tall for her age and was riding these attractions and more by the time she was 3 years old. Turning 3 also meant she required a
theme park ticket and your daughter will now need one as well. You will also need to obtain FASTPASSES for her for any attractions that you want to ride together.
The traditional
Disney FASTPASS Service is included with your theme park admission and will require you to visit a distribution kiosk for each attraction you want to ride with a FASTPASS. Simply insert everyone’s theme park tickets (one-by-one) and FASTPASS reminder tickets will be distributed. When it’s time to ride, scan your park ticket at the attraction FASTPASS queue entrance. For an additional fee per ticket per day, you can upgrade to
Disney MaxPass which allows you to make FASTPASS selections using the Disneyland app on your mobile device from anywhere in the parks. MaxPass is such a huge time-saver and worth every penny, in my opinion!
I hope this helps clarify things for you. See ya real soon!
