A little over 3 weeks until my Disney Cruise to the Bahamas - so excited!!! Can you give me some tips on what to pack? Is there a formal night on 3 night cruises? Thanks!

    Hi Anne Marie!

I'm super jealous that you'll be on a Disney cruise in such a short time!  Get ready for a taste of sensational and magical treatment!!!  You'll never want to sail on another cruise line; at least I don't!

During the days, for shore excursions or just enjoying your time on the ship, resort wear such as Tshirts and shorts or capris are the norm.  If you're on Castaway Cay, your bathing suit, flip flops and a cover up all all that are necessary!  For dinners, cruise casual is fine.  I love to dress up a little, but I need to be comfortable so I usually just wear black slacks and a nice top (personally, I'm like a deer in headlights...I love to wear sparkly tops every chance I get).  This type of dress is more than appropriate if you are having dinner in one of the adults only restaurants such as Palo or Remy.

On cruises that are less than seven nights, there is no formal night.  They have what is called and optional dress up night.   You can do your casual wear or be a fancy as you want.  It's all about making Disney's Guests happy.

I hope you have a magical trip, and make some outrageously fun memories!
