Hi Karen, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I LOVE that you are pre-planning your vacation, and you've come to the perfect place for your question. We are a bunch of planners here at the Panel, and I am most happy to help. And you know what? I think the world would be a very dull place if we all looked like
Disney Princesses! Eeyore has been my main squeeze since I was an it-bit and Doc and I have quite a few things in common!
There are so many attractions at Walt Disney World that are ideally suited to you, and
Slinky Dog Dash and
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train are just two of many! They both have bench-like bucket seats that fit a variety of body types. While some rides have
height and
health restrictions in place, there are no specific weight requirements. Some ride vehicles may not be suited for all body types; these are typically the
"thrill" rides with safety restraints. Most of the attractions that require these restraints have a "test seat" out front to preview you, so no worries!
Once you pick your
must-do Walt Disney World experiences (besides already picking two of my top ten,
Kilimanjaro Safaris,
Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, and
Soarin' Around the World are huge hits in my book), make sure to take advantage of the complimentary
FastPass+ service. I use the
My Disney Experience app to keep track, and then pick additional Fastpasses once I'm done with my original three. It is one of the BEST ways to plan your day!
Karen, you are going to have the most beautiful time. I know by the end of this trip you will be just like
Pooh and Christopher Robin when they said, "We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun."
