Hiya, Charlene!
I’m happy to report that yes, anyone can leave and re-enter the parks as long as they hold onto their ticket for re-entry. According to the
Disneyland Resort Park Rules, “applicable ticket and valid photo identification confirmation are required for re-entry into the park, or crossover to the other park, on each day of the ticket’s validity”. Re-entry used to involve a hand-stamp, but now, a photo is taken of each Guest as they enter the parks using a new admission ticket. So, when you’re ready to re-enter the parks, simply show your park ticket, and your photo will confirm your identity before admission.
As a mom of three Mouseketeers, I can understand the need for a midday break! Some of my family’s favorite spots to rest while in the parks include the Disneyland Railroad, the Disneyland Monorail, Storytelling at Royal Theatre, Animation Academy, and Disney Junior Dance Party! When you’re craving rest AND something delicious, check out the recently-opened
Tropical Hideaway near Jungle Cruise (featuring the classic DOLE WHIP Float, and even the Loaded Whip!), or cool off with hand-scooped ice cream from
Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor while sitting on a bench or curb near Main Street, U.S.A.
Depending on the ages of your children, you may also want to stop by one of the
Baby Care Centers, located inside both parks. These Centers are the perfect spot to feed, change, or simply take a break and recharge before heading to your next attraction.
See ya’ real soon!
