My little one is obsessed with Spiderman! We're planning a day at CA. Does Spiderman have character dining? I can't seem to find a link anywhere character dining options for either park.

Greetings, Abbi, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My little Mouseketeer shares your child’s obsession with Spider-Man, so I’m excited to help you find him on your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort! Currently, you can find Spider-Man in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure Park, where you can have a Heroic Encounter with Spider-Man himself throughout the day. There’s usually a Disney PhotoPass Photographer stationed there to capture some awesome poses and interactions, too! I recommend downloading the Disneyland app ahead of time, so you can check for Spider-Man’s most up-to-date appearance times on your day of arrival. Simply tap the map of Disneyland Resort, then select “Characters” from the drop-down menu, and “Show List” for a detailed list of Characters that are available for meet-and-greets.

Currently, Spider-Man isn’t participating in any Character Dining experiences at the Disneyland Resort. He has been a bit too busy using his super strength and lightning ability to save the world! However, there are several wonderful Character Dining experiences offered throughout the Resort that I’m sure your little one would adore! The only Character Dining opportunity offered within the theme parks is Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park, which is offered at Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park. This is one of my favorite options thanks to the awesome interactions and delicious breakfast buffet! Other Character Dining options are offered inside the Disneyland Resort hotels, including Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures (Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa), Donald Duck’s Seaside Breakfast (Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel), Breakfast and Dinner at Goofy’s Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel), and Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast & Brunch Buffet (Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa). You can’t go wrong with any of these amazing dining opportunities!

Did you hear the exciting Spider-Man news that came from D23 Expo 2019 this past weekend? The Avengers Campus is officially set to open in Disney California Adventure Park in 2020, and will include the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB), which will house the new Spider-Man experience! In this attraction, aspiring inventors will get the chance to test drive the “Web Slinger” vehicle, which allows you to sling webs just like Spider-Man! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for more updates on this exciting park addition.

Wishing you heroic adventures and web-filled fun!
