In a little over a month my family and I will be visiting Disney World for the first time. I am looking to have breakfast at one of the parks. My son (7) does not want to see any of the characters. Do you have any suggestions?

    Hi Christy!

I'm so excited for your family! If your son doesn't want to see characters, I have one word for you.. Blindfold...  Just kidding! You can have a wonderful breakfast at many of the restaurants in Walt Disney World. Here is a list of the character breakfast locations. Its where you will get a chance to meet some of the characters.

    Magic Kingdom:
    Crystal Palace
    Cinderella's Royal Table
    Disney's Animal Kingdom:
    Tusker House
    Epcot:
    The Garden Grill
    Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
    Hollywood & Vine

Cape May Cafe, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana, & Garden Grove Cafe

That way, if he really doesn't want to interact with the characters, you know which restaurants to avoid.

My son has always been a little timid when it comes to the characters and we would have to have him either stay in his seat or just walk him to a different table while my daughter played around with a character. He's now seven as well and is pretty used to them so its a lot easier.
