Do the little mermaid standard rooms have a mini fridge? If so, where in the room are they located?

    Hi Madison,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. As Sebastian the Crab would say, “life is the bubbles” when you’re staying in a The Little Mermaid Standard Room at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. My family recently stayed in those rooms, and we absolutely loved it, especially the gorgeous theming in our room and the larger-than-life icons from the movies around the resort grounds.

There is indeed a mini-refrigerator in The Little Mermaid rooms, and it is located inside the large dresser on which the TV sits. We found the mini-refrigerator really handy for chilling bottles of water, snacks like fruit, yogurt, and string cheese, and milk to go on our cereal in the mornings. Please note that typically the freezer in these mini-refrigerators is not usually cold enough to keep anything frozen; our luck has varied in different rooms, with some colder than others. It's still a great place to keep your water bottles for some extra chill, though!

Madison, enjoy every minute of your stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort where “such wonderful things surround you.” Be sure to take a walk (and bring your camera) around the different resort areas and notice all the Disney details. I really can’t choose a favorite, and I can’t wait for you to experience it all for yourself!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
