My little girl wants to do BBB, but we are unsure if she will fit into the costumes they have since she is 9. She is 53 inches tall, and weighs 72 lbs. I there is not anything to fit at BBB, are there costumes elsewhere at WDW we could buy, and take?

    Hi Wade,

I just checked with the "fairy godmothers-in-training" at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and currently, the largest size princess dresses they carry are a girls' size 10/12.  I provided them with the sizing information you included in your question, and they felt that the costumes in the store would fit her, with room to spare.   (For a size large, 53-59 inches tall and 68-87 pounds where the "specs" they provided, so I think you are in luck!) There are also a number of other shops you can purchase princess costumes at Disney and bring them with you, including:

    • Tinker Bell's Treasures at the Magic Kingdom
    • World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney
    • Summer Lace at the Grand Floridian Resort

If you are looking to save a few pennies, I'd also consider pre-purchasing the outfit of your daughter's choice before arriving in Florida.  A Halloween costume, or princess outfit that has been outgrown by another "princess" are both great options.

I hope your daughter has a magical transformation!
