I want my little girl to collect autographs from the characters. Do they sign her book once she walk up to them or do we have to do meet and greets?

    Hi Johnetta,

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Each of us here at Disney Parks Moms Panel is happy to help you plan your most magical Walt Disney World vacation.

One of the most enjoyable and memorable moments for any Walt Disney World Guest is that moment when you meet up with your favorite Disney friend. What's even more magical is to see how the interactions change over time. When our son was a toddler, simply getting to give a hug to his favorite friends was more than enough to get a big happy grin going. When he was a bit older and could ask for an autograph in his autograph book, the excitement was even greater.

Each character experience throughout Walt Disney World is unique. You'll get to enjoy a few fun moments with your Disney friend — maybe a hug, or a high-five, or a silly something, or a conversation — and then get to signing autographs if you choose, and then photos (often with a Disney PhotoPass photographer). Time spent with a Disney friend is always magical.

Some of our most memorable Walt Disney World vacations were the visits where we focused mainly on meeting our favorite Disney friends. So please do say "hi" to them all for me!

    Enjoy your Disney!'

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
