My little girl adores Goofy & Max, are we likely to meet them both anywhere ? We previously saw them in Typhoon Lagoon, but that was about 10 years ago. We have several character meals booked where we will meet Goofy, but she is desperate to meet Max

    Hi Debra:

Goofy makes frequent appearances at Disney World, and we've had good luck spotting Goofy at Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom, the Epcot Character Spot, and at the Sorcerer's Hat at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately, Max is one of the Disney "holy grail" characters, and he's a tough one to find.

While characters are always subject to change, you can dine with Goofy at Chef Mickey's and at Cape May Café. I don't want to give you false hope, but the last time we ate at Cape May Café, Goofy's seldom seen-son, Max, made a surprise visit. Please note, while Goofy is a regularly-scheduled character at Cape May Café, Max is not, so it's not likely that you will also see Max at Cape May Café.

Your best bet to catch Goofy and Max is to stop by guest relations at any of the theme parks and ask them to call the "character hotline" for you. The character hotline will be able to tell you if, where, and when any particular character will be in the parks that day.

    Enjoy your visit.
