I am a little fuzzy when it comes to the Deluxe Dining plan, which I have it for my trip. I know I am allowed three meals per day and two snacks. However, I am not sure how to fully utilize my plan when I am at Walt Disney World.

Hi Jason! I think the biggest issue with the dining plan is that many guests don't understand the need to get their dining reservations in advance. This takes planning and it starts 180 days out from your arrival as that is when you can call or go online to reserve a spot at the many restaurants.

Determine a plan on where you want to be on each day and check out the dining available at those locations. Pick some that look interesting, fun, and good and get a reservation for your party. Check with the dining plan and see which spots and dining events will take more then one credit such as the dinner shows like Hoop Dee Doo. If these locations don't interest you then bypass them for the more traditional dining that will only take one credit.

When you arrive at a location they will ask you if you are on a dining plan. Your credits are tracked as you eat your way across the property. It will definitely be hard to go hungry being on the Deluxe plan.....and don't forget to pick up some snacks each day as well. My favorite is a caramel from Caramel Kuche in Germany!
