Hi, I am a little confused about making reservations in the theme parks. If I have a DDP and but just a regular park admission ticket, can I only eat dinner at the park that I went to that day?

    Hi!

With one exception (the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom which as an outside entrance), all dining in WDW theme park requires the guest having admission to access the park even if it's just for a meal.

Since you have the Magic Your Way base ticket, you will only be able to access one park each day. Guests that want to park hop for dining would need the park hopper option added to their admission ticket.

To make the most of your Disney Dining Plan, plan your meals around the park that you'll be in that day and also utilize nearby hotels. For instance, if you are in the Magic Kingdom for the day, it's just a quick walk over to the Contemporary Resort or a nice monorail ride to the Grand Floridan and Polynesian resorts. The resorts have fabulous options for dining!

If you are at the Animal Kingdom park, try dinner at the Animal Kingdom Lodge or Downtown Disney. From Hollywood Studios, you are a walk or boat ride away from all the tempting restaurants along the Boardwalk Resort and Yacht/Beach Club resort.

While visiting Epcot, you'll want to dine there! There are so many amazing dinner options right within the park that you should take advantage of a dinner within World Showcase!
