My little brother is 11 and has an adults entitlement for his dining plan however he would prefer some of the kids meals in some of the restaurants...would we be able to use his adult allocation and order a kids meal? Thanks Faye

    Hi there, Faye!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a question for us. I'm certainly more than happy to help!

I'm sure you are getting excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and it will be here before you know it! I absolutely love having the Disney Dining Plan and knowing that all of our meals are paid for in advance. Plus with all of the dining options to choose from, you won't have a hard time using all of your entitlements!

Even though your little brother is considered an adult for the Dining Plan, he can certainly choose to order a child's meal if he would prefer. My own children do just this since the Adult menu doesn't usually include chicken nuggets and french fries. Sometimes you might find that he will enjoy something from the Adult menu but if not, he always has the option to order something else. Also, if you happen to dine at places where the meals are served family style like 'Ohana, just ask your server about the options for children and they will be happy to bring something else out as well.

Faye, I hope this helps and please let us know if you think of anything else before your trip. Have a wonderful time and a magical day!
