Is there a listing on line about a Disney resort's activities? I know that you can get a resort activity list when you arrive.

    Hi Michelle,

There is no comprehensive online list of Disney resort activities but there are a number of ways you can gather the information you seek.

    1.  Check out the independent fan-site, allears.net.  Under the "Walt Disney World" tab, choose "accommodations."  On the left side of the resulting screen, click on the resort you wish to investigate.  A long and detailed description of the resort and its offerings will appear.  Scroll down to the section that addresses recreation at the resort.

    2.  If you click on www.disneyworld.com and then choose a resort category (deluxe, moderate, value) under "places to stay," you get a list of specific Disney resorts.  Once you choose a specific resort, select the "recreation" option on the left side of the resulting page.  Useful information about activities at the resort will appear.

    3.  My favorite option is to call the resort directly to ask about activities on property.  At times, Cast Members have even been so kind as to send me a copy of their current activities guide so I could see what options are available.  Resort phone numbers are listed on allears.net.

    4.  Don't forget that you may post questions to the Moms Panel about resort activities.  Among my colleagues here at the panel you will find people who have experienced all of the Disney resorts.  We'd be happy to share what we've learned about the Disney resorts that interest you.

I hope this list helps to answer your question!
