Hi!! I listen to the CD soundtrack of "Wishes" fireworks quite often to get my DISNEY fix. I was just curious as to why Tink is referred to as "The Little Blue Fairy" when she is announced to fly overhead? I read this panel daily!! Y

We get our Disney fix by listening to the soundtrack as well.

The Blue Fairy is a reference to Pinocchio. Remember when the wooden puppet is brought to life by the Blue Fairy and makes Pinocchio a real boy! The Blue Fairy narrates.

In the Wishes fireworks, WDW guests hear many beloved characters talking. Listen for Pinocchio, the Blue Fairy, Jiminy Cricket, Cinderella, Snow White, Aladdin and more.

So the Blue Fairy reference is not referring to Tinker Bell. Jiminy Cricket speaks right before Tinker Bell's flight from the Castle when he says "it all starts with a wish".

You'll hear the characters all making their own wishes!

Oh, my, I really want to be in WDW watching this memorable fireworks show. I always cry when I hear "When You Wish Upon A Star"!!
