Listed in the dining plan for a meal is one entree and one drink. Since they are listed separately do they need to be purchased together or can my kids get a smoothie and then lunch from another place? If that makes sense. Thank you!!

    Hi Morgan!

It sounds like you are getting ready for a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm happy to help you as you plan for your trip. Be sure to consider adding Memory Maker to your vacation because it's such a good way to capture and save all of the memories you make together as a family!

The Disney dining plans are a great addition to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation because you will be able to pay the majority of your dining expenses in advance, so you don't have to worry about the cost of each individual meal. When you redeem dining entitlements at quick service or table service restaurants, your meal includes an entree and a beverage, which can be a specialty beverage, such as a smoothie or milkshake. Unfortunately, there is no way to redeem only a partial entitlement, so you won't be able to redeem your entree and your beverage at separate dining locations.

Keep in mind that you will receive snack entitlements with your dining plan that can be used for tasty items such as ice cream, Dole Whips and even Starbucks. So that's a great way to enjoy a treat separately from your main meals! Also, the dining plan can change from year to year, so be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog so you stay up to date on the latest news and announcements as your trip approaches.

Let us know if you have additional questions that we can help you with as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
