Hello Melanie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!
Good news! This handy post over at the
Disney Parks Blog gives you clear information about the height requirements for almost all of the attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort’s Theme Parks. If an attraction says that it can be experienced by Guests of “any height”, then you’ll all be able to experience it together as a family.
As for the attractions with height requirements, many of the most popular attractions in Walt Disney World’s Theme Parks offers something called
Rider Switch, which allows two or more adults to take turns waiting with children who are too small to experience an attraction (or any other Guest that doesn’t wish to do so), without the need to wait in line twice. This will be even better news for your “ride loving” 7-year-old because they’ll be able to ride the attraction with the parent who waited with your youngest child. Getting to ride an attraction twice with limited wait? Sign me up! In order to see whether Rider Switch is available at a given attraction, please ask a Cast Member at the entrance for assistance.
Finally, for more information about experiencing Walt Disney World Resort with toddlers, I encourage you to visit the
Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page in order to get even more tips and tricks for your upcoming vacation.
Have fun planning your trip and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
