Is there a list of rides at each park, organized per height requirement?

    Hello Melissa,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

Finally meeting the height requirement to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (38 inches), then Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (40 inches), Expedition Everest (44 inches), and finally Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (48 inches), can be exciting milestones for family vacations! While I don't know of list that organizes height requirements specifically by height, there is one that list all of the attractions in each park and how tall you need to be to ride.

In those instances where your child or someone in your party may not be tall enough for an attraction, you can take advantage of Rider Switch. One adult can wait with the non-riders, while the rest of your party enjoys the attraction. After the first party rides, the adult who stayed behind can enjoy the attraction without having to wait in a long line. This was super helpful for our family when our 2 older children were tall enough for just about every attraction, but our youngest was not. Sometimes, depending on the attraction, the kids would get to ride a second time with the parent who stayed behind to wait.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
