Is there a list of rides with their height requirements for each park at Disney World?

    Welcome to planDisney, Thomas!

I see your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is almost here - how exciting!  I bet you can't wait to experience all the magic both inside and outside of the parks. One of my favorite things before each trip is watching my boys talk about which new attractions they're excited to try.  In fact, my 3-year-old was so happy last week when he finally hit 38 inches, which means he can ride Slinky Dog Dash just like his big brothers on our next trip!

Thomas, you have a few options to view height requirements for rides and attractions throughout the parks at Walt Disney World.  My preference is to filter this list of attractions by the specific height requirement I'm searching for and my selected park.  Another option is to view this comprehensive list of height requirements for attractions across each of the four theme parks and both water parks.  If you have a particular ride you want to check, you can also use the search tool on the Walt Disney World website to find that attraction and review relevant safety information, including height requirements.

If you're traveling with little ones, you'll be happy to know there are dozens of rides and attractions with no minimum height requirement that the whole family can enjoy together.  Many of our favorites are at Magic Kingdom Park, including "it's a small world," Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and Pirates of the Caribbean.  If you have older tweens and teens, Magic Kingdom also offers plenty of thrills, such as TRON Lightcycle / Run and Space Mountain.  If needed, Rider Switch is also available at select attractions for your travel party.

planDisney Pro Tip - Lightning Lane passes are a great way to maximize your time in the parks by minimizing your wait time for select rides and attractions.  While there are three types of passes available to purchase, my family generally likes to use Lightning Lane Multi Pass to experience some of our must-do attractions each visit.

I hope this information has been helpful, Thomas, and that you enjoy making many wonderful memories during your upcoming vacation at Walt Disney World!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers!
    Kristi
