Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I can't think of any place more special to spend the holidays with family and friends than Walt Disney World, so it's wonderful to hear you're planning to gather with the Mouse to celebrate. A few years ago, my family and I spent Christmas week at Walt Disney World and Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom made for a perfect holiday.
Your question has my mouth watering just thinking about turkey and gravy and stuffing and cranberry sauces (I personally favor both canned AND home-made cranberry relish) and all the side dishes. I reached out both to Guests Services and to the Disney Dining Reservation team to find out who will be serving up a traditional feast. While I learned that a list of restaurants serving Thanksgiving holiday fare is not yet available, they did encourage Guests to check back.
I have a few quick suggestions. The first is to look at restaurants that
Disney Parks Blog highlighted for serving Thanksgiving meals last year. This can give you an idea of past options. The second suggestion is to check directly with Disney Dining at the 180-day mark by calling them at 407-934-3463. Hopefully — turkey wishbone in hand — information on traditional Thanksgiving Day menus will be available. I would imagine that a number of dining locations in the parks and well as the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels will be serving up a fanciful and delicious Thanksgiving spread. For example, while I can't promise that
Liberty Tree Tavern will be on the list, I can say I'd be surprised if it isn't.
Jennifer, here's wishing you and your family and friends a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
