Hi Jaynee!
The Fuel Rod has been one of my most helpful
Walt Disney World purchases. A day in the parks checking
My Disney Experience, snapping pics, accessing
Genie+, and mobile ordering food can tax your phone battery. It's reassuring to know a kiosk is only a short walk away that can help you recharge.
The theme parks have multiple Fuel Rod kiosks and most
Walt Disney World Resorts have one spot for charger exchange. Check the
Portable Phone Charging System Kiosks page for a map that shows every location in the parks and hotels.
On our last visit, we found Genie+ was not as big a battery drain we had anticipated, and I discovered the new system markedly reduced our time spent waiting in line. Grab your first
Lightning Lane pass as soon as possible (7:00 am for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort; park opening for all other Mouseketeers), so you can enjoy more time zipping and dipping on roller coasters and meeting your favorite characters.
Enjoy a wonderful visit to see Mickey!
