Is there a list of Family-Style meals and buffet options available under the Disney Dining Plan? I am trying to decide if the plan is worth it for my family.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laci!

If you're a big fan of family-style and buffet dining then Walt Disney World Resort is the place for you because there are more than a dozen of these types of restaurants to choose from on the Disney Dining Plan. There isn't a pre-made list for you to download, so I'm going to list them all for you here so you can have a look at the menus and see what's right for your family.

If you're looking for a family-style meal there are quite a few to choose from including 'Ohana for breakfast and dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Garden Grill Restaurant at Epcot. Garden Grill is a Character Dining experience, and there are quite a few buffets that feature Disney Characters as well, like Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, The Crystal Palace, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Hollywood & Vine, Tusker House Restaurant, and breakfast at Cape May Cafe. Finally, there are a few more buffets around Walt Disney World Resort including Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion at Epcot, Trail's End Restaurant at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and my favorite buffet of them all, Boma - Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. While this list is pretty extensive, it's not exhaustive because menus are subject to change, so be sure to check the menus in the days and weeks leading up to your vacation to make sure they're serving things you're going to love.

    Have a magical day, Laci!
