check for operational updates and keep the latest version of the
My Disney Experience app on your mobile device.
The My Disney Experience app is an amazing tool that offers convenient access to your vacation plans anytime, anywhere. Did you know that it allows you to check attractions that are currently closed for refurbishment? Open the app and scroll down until you find theme park hours. Tap “All Hours” and scroll down once again to see which attractions are closed for refurbishment and temporarily unavailable.
You can also
view the interactive park hours calendar to find out what attractions are scheduled for refurbishment. The calendar shows that on Thanksgiving Day, for example, the Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park will be closed for refurbishment. Please note, however, that information on closings is subject to change without notice and Guests are also advised to check the
individual website for attractions they wish to enjoy to learn more about any unplanned closure or refurbishment. I also suggest referring to the times guides available at all theme parks upon your arrival.
planDisney tips: if you are planning on spending Thanksgiving Day at one of the theme parks, I highly recommend visiting Magic Kingdom Park and making dining reservations at
Liberty Tree Tavern for a special Thanksgiving meal. Dining reservations can be made online up to 60 days in advance, and please note that hours and availability are subject to change.
As you plan your visit, don’t forget that in addition to theme parks tickets, Guests are required to have a theme park reservation for the date of their visit. Theme park reservations can be made online via the
Disney Park Pass system once valid admission has been linked to your Disney account.
