Is there a list of activities/things to do at the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

    Jambo, Adrie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this fabulous question!

My family really loves Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, which is set in a 43-acre preserve full of fascinating wildlife. The lodge itself is magnificently themed replicating the grand safari lodges of Africa. We truly enjoy watching the exotic animals from our Savanna View room, and other viewing areas throughout the resort too.

Upon Check-In at your Disney Resort hotel, you will be provided with the Recreation Calendar. This document will list the many activities and recreation opportunities available throughout the hotel. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge these include, but are not limited to, the following options:

    • Cultural Immersion offerings like African Face Painting, Jambo House Art Tour and Kidani Village Art Tour
    • Animal Programs such as, Night Vision Animal Viewing and Animal Tracking
    • Culinary Exploration like Cookie Decorating and a Culinary Tour of Jiko - The Cooking Place, followed by Boma - Flavors of Africa
    • Animal Adventures such as the Wanyama Safari and Starlight Safari

I hope this was helpful information, Adrie. If you have any other vacation planning questions, please come back to visit us again very soon.

Wishing you a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
