Jambo, Christina! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great planning question.
Eeeek! In just days, you'll be arriving at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort to embark on your magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. How exciting! With its larger-than-life theming, large Family Suites, oh-so-fun pool, great dining options and location right on the Disney Skyliner, Art of Animation Resort is the perfect pixie-dusted home away from home. Now, let's get to your question. Because like Rafiki says, "It is time."
Unfortunately, the Lion King Family Suites at Art of Animation Resort do not have a toaster in the rooms. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." If you need something toasted, you can use the toaster at
Landscape of Flavors. Your Family Suite will have a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, paper cups, plates and bowls, plastic utensils, paper towels, a coffee maker, and a fridge.
The mini fridge is definitely large enough to fit a half gallon of milk. In fact, since my wife brings oat milk, we usually fit two half gallons along with other items! If you need to, you can move the shelves in the fridge around to suit your needs.
The coffee maker in the Lion King Family Suites is typically a dual-sided single-serve brewer that uses the soft, flat coffee pods. You will be provided these coffee pods with both regular and decaffeinated coffee with all the coffee condiments, such as creamer, sugar, sweetener and stirrers. Housekeeping will restock your coffee and condiments as you use them, but feel free to call Housekeeping from your room's phone to request more if you're running low. We all need that extra boost of pixie dust before a fun-filled day in the parks!
When you arrive at your adorable Resort, be sure to snap a photo of the Resort Activities board in the lobby so you'll always have a list of available activities and their schedules with you. Don't miss the campfire nightly at Pride Rock. The marshmallows for roasting are complimentary, and there are usually s'mores kits available for purchase. You can also bring your own s'mores kit if you'd prefer that! This is a must-do for everyone in my family, and we know from experience that you can eat as many marshmallows as the time and your belly allow. Enjoy!
I hope this helps, Christina, and I hope you have a roaring great time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any planning questions you may have.
Everything the light touches,
Mandy
