Does the Lion King family suite, have a kitchenette?

    Hi Michelle!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is so much fun - the theming is so great, it's like stepping into some of your favorite Walt Disney and Disney/Pixar films. Walking through the courtyards of each building is like entering the storylines of the movies Cars, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King! With larger-than-life-sized characters from the movies, you're never far from the perfect photo op.

The Family Suites at Art of Animation are super spacious, and big enough for parties up to six guests. I stayed in a Family Suite with my mom and two teenage daughters, and my favorite feature of the suite was the TWO bathrooms! With four women getting ready each day, that extra bathroom came in handy.

The Family Suites feature kitchenettes that have a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a sink. The kitchenettes are stocked with paper products, such as paper plates/bowls, plastic drinking cups, paper towels and plastic flatware. The coffee maker uses single-serving pods that will be replenished each day by the Mousekeeping staff. You'll also be provided with sugar, creamers, ceramic coffee mugs and disposable cups.

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
