You're going to Disney World, Mary! It's my pleasure to welcome you back to planDisney. Reassigning a ticket is a simple and straightforward process, and you can do it online using the Walt Disney World website or via the My Disney Experience app. I will gladly provide instructions for both so you can reassign this ticket and keep chugging along with your vacation planning!
The first thing you should do is ensure you either
manage a profile for your son under your My Disney account or connect with his existing My Disney account using the
Family & Friends List. You will be able to reassign the ticket once the two of you are connected.
To reassign a ticket online using the Disney World website:
- Log in to your My Disney account
- Hover over your character profile image at the top right of the page
- Click "View My Plans & Tickets"
- Scroll to the heading that reads "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets"
- Click the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab
- Find the ticket you'd like to reassign
- Select your son's profile from the "Reassign Ticket" drop-down menu on the right
To reassign a ticket using the
My Disney Experience app:
- Open the app
- Tap the hamburger menu (≡)
- Tap "My Tickets & Passes" at the top left
- Swipe to the ticket you'd like to reassign
- Scroll until you see "Reassign Ticket"
- Tap "Reassign Ticket" and choose your son from the list
- Save
Remember, only unused tickets can be reassigned, so make sure you complete this process well in advance of your visit. You can
