Ahoy again, Laura. Welcome back to planDisney! I’m so glad to see you’re getting ready for another magical Disney sailing. I love experiencing Disney vacations with my extended family, from the wee little ones like my 2-year-old nephew to my young-at-heart father; I say, “the more, the merrier” when it comes to creating priceless memories with loved ones!
Linking all your reservations together will indeed let the dining room staff know you’re traveling as one large party. This way, when making dining room assignments, the staff is aware to put you at the same table. After a fun-filled day exploring the ship during a Sea Day or at a port of call, I love to relax and share stories over a delectable dinner in the main dining room with my travel companions.
Despite connecting your reservations, each stateroom will still need to do the online check-in separately. You can designate one person per stateroom to be in charge of online check-in. Or technically, one person
could check in every stateroom as long as he or she has all the essential, though sensitive, information, including passport details and credit card info (for onboard charges). Whenever I sail with my parents, who usually stay in their own stateroom, I always help them with the online check-in process. Though the
website and the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App are pretty user-friendly, I don’t mind helping my parents with this step and helps to decrease any potential frustration.
Tip: By linking your reservations together, you can book onboard activities and
Port Adventures for other members in your party as well!
I hope this information is helpful for you, Laura. As always, please don’t hesitate to stop by
planDisney again if you have more trip-planning questions for us.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
