Hi there, Gary! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad you reached out to us here at planDisney to help answer your Walt Disney World Resort vacation questions! We're always happy to help and spread a little Mickey cheer along the way!
I'm sorry to hear you've hit a roadblock linking your
MagicBands. I actually made a linking mistake of my own just last month, linking a friend's MagicBand to an email account that did not even exist. Oops! Luckily, I was able to enlist the help of a friendly and reliable Cast Member to sort through the issue. That is exactly the path you'll need to take here, Gary. You will need to
call the number listed for My Disney Experience and MagicBands. You probably already know that there will likely be a hold time when you make the call. I know this isn't ideal, but I like to use that to my advantage by making the phone call while completing a task around the house or going for a run. It never hurts to hear a little Disney music while you're working, right? When you get connected, the Cast Member on the receiving end of the phone call will be able to link the MagicBand to the correct Guest and even help remove any inactive or duplicate accounts.
Gary, don't forget- on top of all the other uses for a MagicBand, this handy Mouseketool can also function as your room key when staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel. Just make sure to
link your Disney Resort Hotel reservation and it will already be activated to unlock your door, park at the hotel without stopping at the security gate and open locked locations, like pools and spas. That's a whole lot of Disney magic in one little band!
Thanks again for stopping by planDisney. I hope you are able to get in touch with a Cast Member quickly and resolve this little mishap, so you can get back to all of the planning fun that awaits!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
