Hi Casey, welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you're planning a magical family vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. The
50th Anniversary Celebration continues through March and is delivering big thrills like EPCOT's new
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction. Smaller thrills can be enjoyed across World Showcase at
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. If anyone can cook, then anyone can enjoy a sweet or savory treat at
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. The Pain au Chocolat is a personal favorite.
Valid admission, a theme park reservation, and a method of entry (MagicBand, admission card, or Disney MagicMobile pass) are currently required for theme park entry. I know you'll be pleased with your
MagicBand investment. These magical accessories allow you to tap into magic with ease at park entry, Lightning Lane entrances, and with Disney PhotoPass photographers.
MagicBands are non-transferable, which means you are unable to reassign them to another Guest in My Disney Experience once linked. I understand one of your MagicBands was accidentally linked to the wrong individual. I accidentally linked the wrong ticket to my daughter this week and can totally relate. My best advice is to call a helpful Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands number, (407) 939-4357, for guidance about your specific situation. I called with a MagicBand question at 9:15 p.m. last week and the call lasted exactly 42 minutes.
Even without the MagicBand properly linked, Casey, you can proceed with checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar and making
theme park reservations. This lets Mickey know when and where he can expect you. You can expect him to be giving hugs and autographs at
Town Square Theater in the front of Magic Kingdom park.
