Hey there, Colette! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your question. Chatting Disney is my favorite!
Before you know it, you and your family will be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your magical adventure. How exciting! And with the
50th Anniversary Celebration still in full swing, you could not be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort at a better time. It's sure to be pure pixie dust! I, too, am the magical vacation planner in my household, Colette, so I'm more than happy to help!
If you will be managing all of your family's vacation plans on your My Disney Experience account, your husband and children do not need their own accounts. In fact, it actually makes it easier that they don't have separate accounts, as there is no need to link them to your
Friends & Family List! Since your vacation is already booked, you likely entered their names and ages at the time of booking to link them to the Disney Resort Hotel reservation and their tickets.
I recommend logging into your
My Disney Experience account and scrolling down to make sure that your husband's and children's names are listed under "My Planning Party" and "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets." The most important thing is that each family member is linked to their ticket, so click the blue "Tickets and Memory Maker" link to make sure that everyone's name is linked to a ticket. If not, click "Reassign Ticket" and then scroll down to their name or click "Add a Guest."
Next, scroll to your Resort reservation to make sure that your family is listed there, as well. If not, you should be able to modify your reservation to add or edit the Guests. If everyone is linked to the Resort reservation and their tickets, you are all set and ready to make your
Theme Park Pass reservations, link any purchased
MagicBands or MagicBand+ to each family member for easy tapping into the room and theme parks, and get your countdown started!
If you have any issues, I recommend
calling a helpful Cast Member with either Disney Resort Hotel Reservations or Existing Tickets to assist you. They will also be more than happy to help!
I hope this was helpful, Colette! If you have any other questions, feel free to stop back by and
let me know. I am wishing you and your family the most magical and memorable spring vacation. Let the magic begin!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
