Hi Megan,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy to hear you are planning your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. My husband says I like to plan, re-plan, then possibly adjust those plans. I am typically going over our plans until the minute we leave our home. We had to reschedule a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and while I was sad for a bit, I snapped out of it when I remembered how much I enjoy the planning process.
That is not to say that the planning process always goes well. Once I booked our return flights on the wrong day and my young adult children have not let me forget it! So I do understand the frustration of having to fix a planning issue. The simplest solution, if it's available, is to reassign the ticket to the correct account in
My Disney Experience. When you check your tickets using the My Disney Experience app or the website, it should indicate if you can reassign the ticket.
If you cannot reassign the ticket, you will need to contact either the
Ticket Help Line or Resort Reservations to see if they can help you get the tickets and
Resort Hotel reservations assigned to the correct guest. Please understand that the phone lines are busier than usual right now. If you aren't in a rush, you might want to wait a bit to see if the call volume reduces. I would imagine you would like to have it straightened out so you can make
Park Reservations through the new
Disney Park Pass System. You might want to check the
Park Availability tool to make sure your vacation days are still available. If you start to see days around your dates fill up, then you might want to call to have your issue resolved sooner rather than later.
Megan, thank you for visiting us with your question. I'm sending a bit of pixie dust your way in the hopes it all works out for the best. Please let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions.
Wishing you happy planning and a magical holiday,
Amy H.
