Hiya, Andrew!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question! Are you getting excited about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort? Before you know it, you'll be experiencing all the magic of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration. Believe me, the sights, the sounds, and even the tastes (seriously, there are
so many adorable, EARidescent snacks!) are going to put you in the mood to celebrate. So, be sure to pack your party pants –– or shorts, Florida can get
really hot, sometimes –– because a day full of pixie-dusted festivities is headed your way soon!
I've got some great news for you –– when you purchase
Walt Disney World theme park tickets, you aren't purchasing admission to a specific park. You'll be able to start your day in any of the four theme parks you choose, as long as you've made a theme park reservation using the Disney Park Pass system. If your ticket also includes the
Park Hopper Option, you'll be able to enter your next park beginning at 2 PM. Also, keep in mind that you only need to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park you plan to visit each day –– you won't need an additional reservation to park hop to your next spot. Since it sounds like you've already linked a ticket to each Guest and made your theme park reservations, you should be ready to hit the ground running once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.
If you're planning to purchase the
Disney Genie+ service during your visit (or if your ticket already includes Genie+), remember that you'll be able to make your first
Genie+ Lightning Lane selection beginning at 7 AM EST. After that, you'll be able to make your next selection after you've tapped into the attraction or two hours later, whichever comes first. Once you've made your first selection, I suggest setting a two-hour timer on your phone to help remind you when it's time for another pick –– that way, you won't have to worry about keeping track of time and you can focus on all the fun you're having, instead!
Again, thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Andrew. If you think of new questions as your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World gets closer, I hope you'll drop by again –– we're always here to help!
Happy Planning,
Amy
