I have linked tickets to my account but clicked the wrong button and never gave my friend access to it is there a way I can change it

Hi, Ian! Welcome to planDisney, where we love helping our fellow Guests plan magical Disney vacations. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

I'm happy to hear that you were able to link your Theme Park tickets without any issues! That's the very first step, so it's good that you got it out of the way. Now, let me explain how to add your friend to your Family & Friends List, as well as how to assign a ticket to their name.

First of all, your friend needs to open a Disney account of their own. To do this, have them head over to the Walt Disney World Resort website, hover over the My Disney Experience tab, scroll down, and click on Sign In or Create Account. Now, they will need to click on Create an Account and complete the form. When they're done, their Disney account will be ready to go!

Back to you now, Ian. After your friend has created their account, please open your My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen, scroll all the way down, and click on My Profile. Once here, switch over to the Family & Friends List tab, scroll down once more, and click on Add a Guest. Now, select the "I'll enter their name and age option", after which you'll need to fill in all the required fields with their information. When you're done, select the "Share Planning with this Guest" option and enter your friend's email address. You'll have to wait for them to accept your request, and then you should be able to locate them through the Family & Friends List.

Finally, let's assign the ticket to their name, shall we? Again, please head to the My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen, and click on Tickets and Passes. Once here, simply scroll through all your tickets and passes until you come up with the one that you'd like to assign to your friend. If you look below the ticket, you should see a blue "Assign Ticket" button. All you need to do now is click on that and select your friend's name! After you've done this, they should be able to locate their ticket through their own app.

I hope that my answer has been helpful to you and your friend, Ian! Please don't hesitate to come back with any other questions you might have about planning your upcoming Disney vacation. My friends and I are all EARs and happy to help!

    See you real soon,
