I linked my ticket to a person that is not able to go to the park. Can I link it to someone else?

Hey there, Mario, and welcome to planDisney!

I love visiting the Disneyland Resort with big groups of friends and family, but have also run into situations where plans change and people aren't able to make it anymore. Luckily, you are able to reassign the ticket to someone else as long as the ticket is wholly unused.

Typically, you can link tickets in the Disneyland mobile app. You do this by having the person being added to the group select the menu button from the home screen, selecting "Tickets & Passes" and then tapping the +" button in the top right corner. On the slide-down menu, they would select "Link Tickets & Passes" and enter the ticket's barcode number.

However, your situation is a bit unique as it sounds like you might have already linked a ticket to someone and the above solution might not work. If that is the case, you will want to call the Guest Information line to get help from a Cast Member who can help you change the name on the tickets. I spoke with a Cast Member before answering your question and she confirmed they could help with this (again, as long as the ticket has not been used at all).

I love linking tickets together when traveling with a large group with the Disney Genie+ service, mostly because it allows you to make Lightning Lane selections for the full party! I did this on a recent trip a few months ago and it made it so convenient to make sure we could all ride together. I would highly recommend it!

Thanks again for your question, Mario. I hope you have a fantastic time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
