I linked my ticket and my guests ticket on the app, but my guest doesn’t see it on their app. Do I need to do anything further or can I link the ticket through my guest’s account so they are able to view it?

    Hi Ceili,
With just a couple of days before your arrival at The Most Magical Place on Earth, you must be in the "too excited to sleep" stage of planning! Let's dig a little deeper into your question about assigning tickets in the My Disney Experience mobile app.

It sounds like you've successfully added your Walt Disney World theme park ticket to your My Disney Experience account, Ceili. To successfully link the rest of your party's tickets to their My Disney Experience accounts, you must add them to your Family and Friends list in a certain way.  When entering Guests as Family and Friends in My Disney Experience, there are three options. If you choose to enter your Guest's name and age directly into My Disney Experience, there is an additional option that appears after you select a Guest's age over 12: "I want to manage all plans for the Guest" or "Invite this Guest to connect."  You should select "Invite this Guest to connect" and enter the Guest's email address. The Guest then formally accepts the invitation from their email account to finalize their place on your Family and Friends list and your place on theirs. If you select "I want to manage all plans for this Guest," this actually creates a Guest profile only visible to you that is not compatible with any separate My Disney Experience account the Guest may have. I'm thinking this might be what happened when you linked your Guest's ticket in your My Disney Experience app. If that's the case, you can officially "Invite this Guest to connect" in My Disney Experience and then reassign the ticket. Note that any Disney Park Pass reservations tied to a reassigned ticket need to be canceled and rebooked, pending theme park reservation availability. If this solution does not meet your needs, or you'd like a friendly Cast Member with eyes on your specific situation to assist you, I encourage you to call (407) 939-5277 or visit Guest Relations soon after your arrival.

My family experienced a similar situation on a recent family visit when two of the adults in our party added children separately to our My Disney Experience accounts. The Cast Members at Guest Relations were incredibly helpful and we were off to Neverland in no time!

Enjoy The Most Magical Celebration on Earth, Ceili, and remember that you are the magic!

    Have a magical day!
    Jennifer
