Hello, Jordan! Thanks for cruising to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
I'm glad to hear you will be traveling with friends or family on your upcoming Disney Cruise. I find the Disney Cruise ships to be so accommodating when it comes to traveling with a group. If you have
linked your reservations with the two other staterooms in your sailing party, the other guests do not need to link from their apps. I would encourage them to check and see if they are able to make activities for the entire group. If all has gone according to plan, they should be able to make plans (book a
Port Adventure, for example) and select everyone from the three staterooms. If they have any technical difficulties, I recommend that they then try to link from their app or contact Disney Cruise Line
via phone or online chat.
With so many activities onboard that are geared towards guests of all ages, everyone in your party will find something that interests them during the day. Then, you can all join together over your evening meal and share the stories from your day. The
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be helpful when you'd like to gather the group together for a mid-day ice cream break. There is a handy chat feature to use while onboard. My favorite part is the Disney emojis that you can use while chatting.
Jordan, if you have any more questions about planning for a group, please visit planDisney again. My go-to strategy is to choose one or two activities to enjoy together as a large group each day. Then we have some free time where everyone chooses what they'd like to do. My parents like to read (or nap) on the Promenade Deck while my kids play in the youth spaces onboard. Have a great time tailoring your voyage to your sailing crew!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
