Hello, Susan!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for bringing your question to us here at planDisney.
I am so happy to hear that you will be joining the
50th Anniversary Celebration in just a few weeks with friends and family. You can enjoy all the special experiences created just for the celebration. You will need to add
Disney’s Enchantment to your must-do list. This new nighttime spectacular is shown nightly (subject to change) in the Magic Kingdom. The show combines a new theme song and soundtrack set to breathtaking fireworks and Character projections on the castle and buildings of Main Street U.S.A. It has a limited run of only being shown during the World’s Most Magical Celebration, and it's the perfect way to end your day in the
Magic Kingdom.
Susan, it sounds to me like you are included on a reservation where someone is managing your plans on their My Disney Experience account. If you would like to have these plans linked to an existing My Disney Experience account of your own, you will need to connect to the person who set up the reservation, on your
My Family & Friends list. Once you are connected, you will be able to link yourself to the account they manage for you and their plans will automagically be linked to your account.
To get connected, ask your friend or family member who set up the reservation to send you a request to connect. This can be done online or in the mobile app, by having them sign in to
My Disney Experience and selecting their
My Family & Friends list. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and click on
+Add a Guest. They will have several options to choose from on how they want to connect with you. They need to choose,
I'll enter their name and age and enter your name, and age and invite you to connect using the email address you associate with the My Disney Experience account that you manage. You will receive an email notification that you have a request to connect. When you accept it, you will also have the option to link your account to the one they have created for you. Accept this request and you will be able to see any reservations, tickets, and plans they have already made for you.
You can also use any
MagicBands that you have linked to your account to access admission tickets or other plans that have been made for you. If you do not have a MagicBand, you can use the mobile app to set up a MagicMobile pass that you can use with your smartphone or iOs linked Apple Watch. Open the My Disney Experience mobile app and tap the more icon [3 horizontal lines]. Select the
Disney MobileMagic button from the menu and follow the prompts to set up your pass. Store it in the mobile wallet of your smartphone device to access all your plans when you arrive.
I am wishing you all the fun and if you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
