Hi Erica, welcome to planDisney!
You're going to fall in love with Walt Disney World Resort in the fall. The
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival pairs nicely with cork-popping fun on
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. At Magic Kingdom park, the happy haunts materialize during
Mickey's Not-So-Spooky Halloween Party. Tickets for this special event are on sale now.
I see you doing the next right things to plan your family's magical vacation, Erica. You mentioned having tickets
linked in My Disney Experience as well as
theme park reservations, which are both required for theme park entry. Each Guest will also need a method of entry (
MagicBand, admission card, or
Disney MagicMobile pass) to enter the parks.
I understand something unmagical is going on in your My Disney Experience account. Let's start by asking your mom to click "Update" next to your name on her
Family and Friends list. When choosing which plans you can see, ask her to select "All My Plans." Once that step is complete, you should see your dad's theme park reservations under the "Daily Itinerary" tab of your
My Plans page. A page refresh is required.
Next, ask your mom what she sees under the "Tickets and Memory Maker" tab on the My Plans page of her My Disney Experience account. If she sees that your dad's ticket has wrongly been assigned to her, she can fix that by selecting his name from the "Reassign Ticket" dropdown menu that appears to the right of most wholly unused tickets. If the tickets are assigned correctly in her account, that just means the Stitchuation is limited to your account. Since your mom is the one managing your dad's plans in My Disney Experience, it's most important for the tickets to be right in her account. With both of them listed on your Family and Friends list, you should have no problem making park plans for them online and in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (dining reservations, theme park reservations, Lightning Lane reservations, etc.).
I hope to see you planning Disney at planDisney again soon, Erica. October will be here before you know it!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
