Generally,
once a MagicBand+ has been linked to a MyDisney account, it cannot be transferred to another person. If the MagicBand+ has not been used yet, I recommend calling the number listed under “
App and MagicBand Support” to see if a Cast Member can assist you. It isn’t guaranteed that the Cast Member will be able to transfer the MagicBand to the proper account, but I think it’s worth giving them a call since it isn’t a process you can complete on your own!
If your trip is coming up soon, I recommend calling as soon as possible so you can make sure it is ready to use for your arrival! You can use your MagicBand+ to enter your Disney Resort room, tap into the theme parks, and enter Lightning Lanes, which are the top three things I want to do on my first day of a Disney vacation! If you’re staying in a Disney Resort, you can also use your MagicBand+ to make purchases using the card on file with your Resort folio.
