Welcome to planDIsney, Morgan! Thanks for reaching out to us with your question.
Once you decline a
MagicBand for a Guest while ordering through your
My Disney Experience account, that action cannot be undone. That Guest will no longer be able to pre-order a band for a discount. As such, I recommend waiting for everyone staying in your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room to make a final decision about their MagicBand before placing your order. Keep in mind that if you'd like these bands shipped to you before your vacation, you'll need to complete your order at least 11 days before your arrival date. If you complete your order between 6-10 days before your arrival date, it will be shipped to the
Front Desk of your hotel. After that, you can purchase a band at a
merchandise location when you arrive at the resort, but it will not be eligible for the pre-order discount.
Now I see that you're arriving in September and I have to tell you that even though I say this about all times of the year, the fall is a great time to visit. While we don't know the dates of
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party or the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival yet, they are usually offered in September, so you'll want to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements as I highly recommend checking out both if they're available! And this year will be especially magical because
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and the
Country Bear Musical Jamboree in
Magic Kingdom Park should be open. I can't wait to experience these 2 rethemed attractions, especially floating down the bayou and
meeting all the critters that live there! Plus,
the transformation of the center of EPCOT will likely be complete, and
"The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure" may be open at
Disney's Hollywood Studios! So get ready...it's going to be a great vacation!
Morgan, if you have any other questions,
I'm ready to answer them!
We're going to have a good day which will turn into a good week, which will turn into a good year, which turns into a good life,
Matt
