I am linked with a friend to share our plans and book together but she can’t see my daughters who is 8. How do I allow her to share planning so we include her?

Hiya, Krishna! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great planning question!

In just weeks, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, ready to begin your most magical adventure. How exciting! With the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration and EPCOT International Festival of the Arts still in full swing, you could not be visiting at a better time. Festival of the Arts is my absolute favorite EPCOT fest, and it is perfect for kids and kids at heart. The food and drinks are as beautiful as they are delicious, there is art and entertainment around every turn, and you can create and even become the art. How cool is that?! Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends so you can sit back, relax and start your countdown!

For your friend to make plans with your daughter, you will first have to give her permission to do so. To do this, have your friend log in to her My Disney Experience account, hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab, click "My Family & Friends, scroll down and click "Add a Guest." She should then select that she would like to find the Guest through her connected Guests and select your daughter. After she completes this, you should receive an email to accept the invitation and approve your daughter being on your friend's Family & Friends list. Once she is on her list, she should now be able to make plans with your daughter.

As the person who manages your daughter's plans, you can always undo this process in the future. To do so, just log in to your My Disney Experience account, head to your Family & Friends list and click "Update" next to your daughter's name to edit who can manage your daughter's plans and what they have access to. Happy planning, Krishna!

While you're enjoying your visit to the Festival of the Arts, I must recommend participating in Figment's Brush with the Masters. My daughter is around your daughter's age, and she always loves the Festival scavenger hunts. Let's be honest ... the adults always do, too! It keeps our daughter entertained while we taste our way around the World Showcase, and we love how it helps us explore the details of every World Showcase pavilion. Plus, you get an adorable prize! A prize for having fun?! Yes, please! Before you start exploring the Fest, stop by the Creations Shop, Port of Entry or World Traveler to purchase the scavenger hunt. Then, let the magic begin!

I hope this helps, Krishna, and I hope you, your daughter and your friend have the most magical and memorable upcoming visit! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have.

You've got a friend in me,

    Mandy
