Just linked a complimentary Disney park hopper pass to my Disney App account. It asks for a name,do I have to assign a name and if so,do I need ID to enter with that ticket?I have a few more to add, for additional family members,do I have to put their names

    Hi Lisa,

One of the benefits of the Disneyland Mobile App is that multiple people can add theme park tickets to their app for their entire group. That is one of the reasons it is a good idea to have a name associated with each ticket, to best make sure you can keep track of which tickets belong to which person.

Unless you purchased the Southern California Weekday Offer, you would not be required to present an ID that matches the name on the ticket. For example, Lola is my nickname, and I enter my nickname on every ticket and annual pass I have ever purchased without an issue. A Cast Member will take your picture at the entrance gate when you first enter a park, and that picture will be used to confirm your identity instead of an ID.

Another benefit of having names on tickets is that if you decide to purchase Genie+, it will make things easier if your party wants to split up and book different Lightning Lanes. The group can split up and still use the benefits of Genie+.

Have a great time at Disneyland Resort – ta-ta for now!

    Best wishes,
    Lola
