I linked accounts with 1/4 of my family members. I can no longer see their tickets/park reservations but they can see them on their Disney app (I don’t manage their plans now). If I want to do a virtual queue through my app for all 4 will I be able to?

    Hiya Molly!

Welcome to planDisney!  Linking with Family & Friends is so convenient when touring the Parks. I love that I can collaborate with my family to grab a Dining Reservation, book a Lighting Lane or grab a Virtual Queue boarding group.

I'm sorry that you are having trouble seeing some of your family members. I suggest logging into your Family & Friends List and seeing who you are linked to. When I look at my list I see two sections: "People I Have Plans With" and "People I Do Not Have Plans With." Look to see if anyone from your family is in either of these areas.

If you see that your family is on the list of "People I Have Plans With" then you should select "Update" next to their name. It is here that you can see what you share with this person. Try clicking "All My Plans" and "Save". Check your My Disney Experience Mobile App and see if your family shows up. The way to get to the correct screen on this app is to click on the three stacked lines on the bottom right, select "Tickets and Passes" and see if their tickets show up on the top. You will have to swipe right to see all of the tickets if there is more than one.

If you see that your family is on the "People I Do Not Have Plans With" then there is a chance that they need to edit their settings as I told you above to connect with you. Make sure they select "All My Plans". You can see if it finally worked by entering into the My Disney Experience Mobile app and clicking the three stacked lines on the bottom right. Then scroll down to "My Profile" and then select the tab that says "Family and Friends List". You will see on the top the list of people you are going to be planning with. It will be conveniently titled "We're Planning Together".

You need to be "planning together" by being linked on this list for you to make a Virtual Queue booking for them. Everyone must share their plans. When you begin the process to secure a Virtual Queue boarding group time you will need to click quickly to digitally grab your entire family. Just a tip, before the opportunity starts at 7 am you can click on the "Join Virtual Queue" button from the main page and pre-select the people who you want to join you. I like to have my Family & Friends list already cleaned up before I arrive at Walt Disney World Resort by changing the rights that people have access to beforehand. I have sometimes even deleted some people off the list as I know I can always add them again if I do a trip with them at another point. This way it is set up perfectly for the entire trip and I can just click "Select All" and keep clicking quickly to secure that boarding group. These Virtual Queues can fill up in seconds so every second counts.

If you continue to have problems I would call My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ number on this page.  A friendly Cast Member will be able to help figure out your linking problems.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Happy Planning!
