Like you, I am the planner of our group, so everyone's
Advanced Dining Reservations are always held by my credit card, under my name. When guests check into a restaurant, they may give the name you provided for the reservation or, if they have it, the confirmation number that is associated with that reservation. The credit card that was used to hold the reservation, however, is not charged at that time. Instead, that number is only used to hold the reservation or for the $10 per person fee for either not showing up for the reservation or for cancelling it less than 24 hours in advance. Once seated, guests may pay using cash or any credit card they choose to use at that time.
Should you wish to do so, contact Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE to see if you can change the credit card number being used to hold your friends' reservations. If you'd like, you can swap out your friends' credit card number for your own. While the primary guest name on the reservation cannot be changed, the credit card used to hold the reservation can be.
