Hi Melanie,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney today. I'd be happy to help! While guests under age 13 are not able to create their own My Disney Experience account, you should be able to create a
Disney Magic Mobile pass for your daughter to use on her Apple Watch.
First, you'll need to
make sure your daughter is listed on your Family & Friends list. If you have already purchased your family's tickets or booked a room and ticket vacation package she more than likely will already appear on your list. Once you've verified this and her
admission media is linked to your My Disney Experience App you'll be able to manage her profile, purchase
Disney Genie+ Service, reserve Lightning Lanes, and join
Virtual Queues on her behalf.
Next, you'll use Disney Magic Mobile Service to create a pass she can use to enter the parks and access Lightning Lane entrances using her Apple Watch. To do this navigate to the feature menu (≡) at the bottom right of your
My Disney Experience Mobile App and select the tile for "Disney Magic Mobile." Click the "+" sign at the top of the screen to create a pass for any members of your travel party that you manage, select a design, and save the pass to your phone's wallet. Return to the "Disney Magic Mobile" tile in your My Disney Experience App and click "Select Passes to Share." If you are both iPhone users you'll be able to
send the pass to her phone via iMessage, where she can save to her own Apple Wallet. Have her enable "Express Mode" to use Magic Mobile at eligible access points without even unlocking her iPhone or Apple Watch.
If you are not both iPhone users your daughter should be able to log in to your My Disney Experience Mobile App from her phone and save the Magic Mobile pass to her wallet. You can always
reach out to a Cast Member for additional technical assistance.
I hope this helps get you tech-ready for your upcoming trip. If we can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to come back and see us again.
Magic and memories,
Amy
