Hi Sandra,
Thanks for visiting planDisney. I am also preparing for the upcoming Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend, and I’m thrilled to hear you will be there too!
The
Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend includes a
Post-Race Party on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Participants of the Half Marathon and Disney Two Course Challenge events will receive a Post-Race Party ticket with their registration. Guests who did not register for the Half Marathon or Challenge events had the option to purchase a Post-Race Party ticket when registration opened. Your ticket allows you entry to EPCOT beginning at 5:00 PM, so you can take your time exploring the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
If you purchased your Post-Race Party ticket separately from race registration, you should have received an email with a PDF copy of your ticket. If you are registered for the Half Marathon or Disney Two Course Challenge, you should receive your Post-Race Party ticket in the mail. I received mine earlier this week and it came with a physical ticket as well as instructions for linking your ticket to your My Disney Experience account.
To link your ticket to your
My Disney Experience account, log in on a web browser and visit “My Plans.” Scroll down to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets” and click “+ Add More Plans.” In the drop-down menu select “Link Reservations and Purchases,” then click the tile labeled “Tickets.” Enter your ticket ID Number to link your ticket!
I always recommend printing out the PDF copy of your ticket, or confirmation email from your race registration in case you run into issues. Last year, my Post-Race Party tickets didn’t arrive in the mail on time, and I was able to visit the Box Office at
ESPN Wide World of Sports to get a new ticket issued.
Don’t forget that a Virtual Queue will be utilized for the runDisney Merchandise Shop at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. On November 2, 2023 at 8:30 AM ET you can
join the Virtual Queue for the runDisney Merchandise Shop. In your My Disney Experience account, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right of the app, find the tile labeled “Virtual Queues,” and select “runDisney Merchandise Shop.” The Expo opens at 10:00 AM, so you can arrive to pick up your race bib and participant shirt while you wait for your group to be called to shop for
race weekend merchandise.
Extra tip, Sandra. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, look in your Resort lobby for a board with an itinerary and details about race weekend. This board will include Expo hours and transportation information such as when buses will run to and from the Expo and when buses will begin pick-up to take you to the race start!
I hope this helps, Sandra! Have a great time on the course, and make sure you take plenty of
in-race photos with the Disney PhotoPass photographers! If you have any future questions,
send me a message at planDisney.
Wishing you many magical miles,
Kaitlin
