Welcome to planDisney! I'm delighted to hear that you're planning to visit the
water parks during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. It had been quite a few years since I visited
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, but I returned to both last summer (and then again this summer!) thanks to the
free water park admission benefit.
Helen, if you're staying at a
hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection and planning to take advantage of the complimentary water park admission on your check-in day, you'll be happy to know it's easier than saying
bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! Water park tickets will
automagically be linked to each registered resort Guest on your check-in day and can be viewed in your
My Disney Experience. You and others in your travel party can then use a
MagicBand, Key to the World Card, or
Disney MagicMobile Service to enter the water park once you arrive. If your resort hotel room isn't ready yet, you are welcome to leave your bags at
Bell Services before taking Disney's
complimentary bus transportation to the water park or your choice. I'd suggest having a day bag with sunscreen, water shoes, a change of clothes, and any other essentials ready to go! Additionally, I'd recommend
completing Online Check-In before your arrival so you can receive text and/or email updates when your room is ready.
If you have
purchased separate water park admission tickets, they can also be linked to your My Disney Experience. In the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, click the three lines in the bottom corner and then select "Tickets and Passes." Here you can view already-linked admission tickets and/or click the plus sign to add new ones by entering the ticket ID number.
Helen, whether you choose to spend your time floating on
Castaway Creek or experiencing the thrills of
Summit Plummet, I hope you have a
SPLASH-tacular time enjoying the Disney water parks. And here's one final recommendation - don't miss the Sand Pail Sundae! This shareable ice cream sundae is the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day. . .just ask my boys! Currently, you can find it at
