Howdy Laura! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so happy to hear you will be rescheduling your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort! I know the past couple of years have been challenging, with lots of unexpected changes in travel plans, so I'm so excited you'll be visiting later this year!
Though entirely unused
theme park tickets do expire, the value of the ticket remains under your account and can be used toward a future visit. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no way to apply this amount online, so you would need to call Guest Relations directly at (407) 934-7639, where a Cast Member will be happy to help you.
Now, it is important to note that entirely unused means that none of the days on your ticket were used. For example, let's say you purchased a four days park hopper. If you entered a theme park for three days of your four-day ticket, you would not be able to use the value of your single unused day toward a future visit. Therefore, all four days would need to be wholly unused to still hold value.
Since it looks like you'll be headed to Walt Disney World sometime in 2022, let's talk about some of the fantastic things you can enjoy during your vacation.
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration will still be in full swing throughout the rest of 2022, making it the perfect time to revel in all that is new and exciting at Walt Disney World. In my opinion, you cannot miss the fabulous nighttime spectacular
Disney Enchantment at
Magic Kingdom Park. You'll see Main Street, U.S.A. like never before as it transforms with EARidescent light and color together with the incredible fireworks over Cinderella Castle. It's an absolute must-do! You also won't want to miss the celebratory
sips and bites available throughout Walt Disney World in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration. From savory to sweet, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
Laura, I do hope this answer has been helpful to you. Please feel free to visit us again with any other Walt Disney World vacation planning questions you may have!
Until next time!
