Hi Jackie, welcome to planDisney!
The boo-tiful, seasonal decor and autumnal eats make fall my favorite season to experience the magic at Walt Disney World Resort. This fall is extra magical as the
Beacons of Magic continue to shine during
The World's Most Magical Celebration.
Your
My Disney Experience account is the digital hub for all of your vacation reservations and entitlements. This means that once you link a
ticket to your My Disney Experience account and a
MagicBand to your My Disney Experience account, the ticket and MagicBand are automagically linked. Isn't that great?! You can link your tickets
online or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> Tickets and Passes --> Plus Sign --> Link Tickets and Passes).
MagicBands also need to be
linked to your My Disney Experience account. MagicBands are nontransferable, so make sure you assign each one to the correct member of your
Family and Friends list, and they can be used for multiple trips. The battery life of a MagicBand is reportedly two years, but I've been using mine for over three. Like me, it must be running on caffeine and pixie dust. Each time I link a new ticket to my My Disney Experience account, it automagically gets added to my MagicBand, which allows me to tap into magic at theme park entry,
Lightning Lane entrances, and more.
In addition to valid tickets and MagicBands, make sure you make a park pass reservation for each person over the age of three for each park day. There's still plenty of time, but I suggest checking the
Theme Park Availability Calendar and making your
park pass reservations at least 60 days before your trip. This will help guide your plans for
advanced dining reservations, which can be made up to 60 days in advance.
Plan magic; planDisney.
